Bellbrook and Carlow Hermitages

. . . among the trees are two self-contained log cabin hermitages. The hermitage experience is a time of solitude and retreatants are free to develop their own schedules. The retreat center is within walking distance.

Each offers: Bath with shower; Kitchenette including refrigerator, hotplate & microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, dishes/cookware, twin bed, comfortablechair, radio/cd player/clock, linens.

Available year-round, the hermitages are heated and air-conditioned.

Coolock Hermitage

Situated apart from the retreat center below an expanse of

evergreens is a simple white dwelling; a perfect setting for

solitude and prayer, rest and relaxation, or recreation for

hearts, minds, and bodies desiring to be refreshed and

renewed.

A small one-floor dwelling, Coolock House is available as a “Hermitage” at Our Lady of the Pines Retreat Center for those seeking solitude in prayer. Coolock House offers two comfortable bedrooms, a living room, full kitchen, and laundry. May all who come to our Coolock House also share in the rich gifts of the Spirit!
